Reconciliation & Forgiveness

Last evening I dreamt I was a cosmic explorer, traveling with a companion to explore the vastness of our universe. We were the only beings we knew of that were of our species. We looked human, yet when you looked at our faces, they were out of focus. If you looked at us out of the corner of your eyes, you could see us, yet if you looked directly at us, our faces were blurred.

In our travels, we heard about other explorers who were the first to visit a galaxy and they reported that they had visited a world where the people looked like us, so of course we immediately traveled there.

Upon arriving, the people indeed were like us, and we were warmly greeted and welcomed as long-lost family. It was a very deep sense of being home. Yet, were also informed that there were places on the planet we were not to visit, as it was considered unsafe, but no one told us why, so immediately we went there. 🙂

When we arrived it set off all kinds of alarm bells and people were freaking out, very afraid of what might happen. What did happen is that we discovered a second civilization that was only children. In this culture, childhood might last as much as 500 years, and without medical intervention, transitioning through puberty to adulthood was always fatal. In fact, in the children’s world, there was only one surviving adult.

Somewhere in their past, there was an event that split these two civilizations into groups. The one that had adults had eventually discovered a herb that when taken during the rites of passage into adulthood would ensure their survival. With the civilization of children, none of them survived, so from generation to generation they had no knowledge of this herb.

While we were with the children, there was one very ancient Priestess who remembered the split and her memories began to surface. She retrieved an incredibly ancient statue of the Goddess beautifully made of porcelain. and as she began walking to where I was she unwrapped it from its blue covering and began singing an ancient song to the Mother that had not been sung in their racial history. As she sang, she was also crying for the return of the Mother, and the children began to remember, even though they had never heard this.

As she sang, the children emerged from their hiding, and much hugging and embracing began as the two civilizations reconciled completely with each other and returned to a unified whole again.
