Africa Accepts Me

Continuing with dreams of being called to Africa, some dreams that I have are for me, and some are for the collective, and this one was for me. I dreamed that I was walking through a very lush forest that I now know is on the Southeast side of Mount Kenya. I was walking with my friend, whom I spoke of yesterday, a mature male lion, and we were just enjoying being in the forest, feeling the vibrancy of the rhythm of the flow of life. Eventually, we came to a very large clearing and walked into it just a little way, and my friend sat down and roared so loudly it startled me.

After a little time had passed, every animal that lives in Africa came into the clearing. Every insect, those that live underground – including worms, every reptile, including all the snakes and lizards, all the birds, mammals, they all gathered in a semicircle around me in the clearing.

When they were all gathered, two black mambos came forward and wrapped themselves around my legs and up my body until their heads were just above my head like a garland. They then simultaneously bit me on either side of the neck, injecting their elixir directly into my spinal column.

At that point, the large matriarchal elephant that had come into the clearing trumpeted so loud it was like a concussion of sound that went out in a concentric wave, leaving only silence behind it. Then, in unison, all the animals bowed to me.

And I knew that the land and all of Africa had accepted me and was welcoming me to return.

This has always been what my life has been like, wherever I go to live, the land and the spirits that live there have to accept me first.

Blessings to all.

May all beings know peace.
