The Dream is a Gilded Prison

Recently in dreams I was in a Hindu style temple complex and was having a wonderful time and was visiting all kinds of people, teachers, etc. The temple was incredibly beautiful and each room that I went in was more beautiful than the previous one.

Each room expanded when you came into it and had 6 rooms going off of it, 4 sides and top and bottom and they were always new so it was literally an infinite maze of beautiful rooms with everything you could imagine in each one.

There were new attendants in each room to fulfill your every wish.

For a while I slept in the most beautiful bed you can imagine and the quilt on top of it was three feet thick, yet lighter than a single feather. It was glorious.

In the end I was having a conversation with Brahma and was invited to stay for as long as I wanted, and that if I wanted the temple would be mine, and Brahma even showed me a woman who wanted to be with me.

Then I noticed that there were no children anywhere here. In all the places I had visited, no life bursting forth from itself and so I respectively declined the invitation.

As I walked out the woman asked me to stay and I said this is not a temple, it’s a gilded prison. From somewhere another person appeared and we were walking together away from the place and we both offered to let her walk with us if she wanted and then we walked out into the Himalayan mountains and eventually came to a city that she wanted to stay in and begin a new life so she left.

Continuing on alone on my journey I looked down at the ground and it became a beach and there was a grain of sand in my hand and this small tiny grain was the temple that I had been lost in for a while. I set it down on the beach with the trillions of other grains of sand there were there and then I grew immensely larger and the beach became a single piece of dust in the rings around Saturn, all filled with trillions of other grains of sand, and I was maybe 100 times larger than Saturn and was translucent light sitting in space meditating.

The depths of the illusions we can become stuck in are endless beyond imagining.
